Abstract

The increasing contribution of mathematics to the culture of the modern world, as well as its importance as a vital part of scientific and humanistic education, has made it essential part of our lives. The enviable truth is that students find it difficult to solve simple questions especially those involving fractions. The purpose of this short article is to provide a source of examples for students. The authors believe this will help curb the fear students have in this area of mathematics which will go a long way to increase students interest in mathematics.
